A very Old Man With Enormous Wings

                    "Judging a person doesn't define who they are. It defines who you are." according to an article. Don't judge the person on their physical appearance. (on how they look). The attitude of the people towards an old man in the story is very unjust. Having wings look like an angel made him different from others, which is the reason why people treated him differently. Sometimes people don't appreciate all the blessings that come to their lives. The author uses the symbol of an old man angel as a blessing in the town. Since the old man came into their lives the kids were out of danger and also people got their own source of income through him by putting him to the carnival. I don't think that they people realize those things. It was sad because the way the old man was treated was so bad and cruel. None of the people did a good thing for him. After I read the story, what is the purpose of him? I believe this story wants us to realize people need to fair to others no matter what condition they have treat them as human being.

    For me this story, is a thought-provoking exploration of human nature, societal reactions to the extraordinary, and the blurred line between the magical and the real.

    I agree, people don't realize their blessings until its gone. People need to appreciate things while they have it, not abuse and mistreat it like the characters did in the story.

  Five Years Next Sunday         Sometimes having visitors in our place where we live is nice, as part of my culture, we have to entertain them, show them how we live, and our daily routine.  And by doing this on the other hand foreigners/visitors will take advantage of our weaknesses. Because they see our problems and then make us believe that they want to help us. Of course, at first were very grateful that somebody would be there to help us.
